January - a month of reflection and renewal. Our annual meeting and cleaning up of Thanksgiving leftovers happened on Sunday, the 11th. A review of 2014 confirmed that we made much progress on some major projects - new front steps and new shelving in the kitchen among them. There are several new projects in the works as well as finishing up some old ones. We also plan to take part in the town's celebration of its 175th anniversary.
We continue to be a community of many people taking on a variety of roles. See the Leadership Team page for the updated listing of current "staff."
Smithfield Baptist Church now has a Facebook page, just launched this past weekend. It is still a work-in-progress and we welcome your feedback with questions and suggestions. Be sure to "like" us.
Lent and Easter are rapidly approaching. Be sure to check blog posts and the calendar for updates on activities.
Last, but definitely not least, we are still "keeping Christmas alive in two-zero-one-five." Keep an eye out for how we plan to do that and how you can participate.
